asked the Home Secretary whether he will take immediate steps to prevent persons in Eire who are hostile to the State from crossing the border into Northern Ireland either to make raids or to settle in Northern Ireland?

I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply given yesterday by the Prime Minister to the hon. and gallant Member for Londonderry (Sir R. Ross).

Is my right hon. Friend aware that this week there was before the court in Belfast a man who had failed to produce an identity card, who said that he had walked from Dublin to Belfast without hindrance, and that——
