§ Mr. EdenThe negotiations have been conducted by the Foreign Office on behalf of the United Kingdom and the Dominions. While the Japanese Government has refused to allow special relief ships under Red Cross auspices to proceed to the Far East, agreement has beer, reached for sending medical and other supplies by the ships used for the exchange of nationals and I would refer my hon. Friend to the statement made by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for War on 10th November.
