§ Mr. ButlerMy right hon. Friend the Minister of Agriculture and I have agreed that an extension of the activities of the National Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs is desirable. Mr. right hon. Friend has recently set up a Joint Advisory Committee including representatives of the Federation, and of our two Departments under the Chairmanship of the right hon. Member for the Don Valley (Mr. T. Williams), one of the Ministry's Joint Parliamentary Secretaries, to guide and assist the Federation in the work in which they will be involved. An increase in the staff of the Federation has already been authorised and a limited number of appointments will shortly be made.
