HC Deb 19 November 1942 vol 385 c490
34. Mr. Ness Edwards

asked the Home Secretary whether he is aware that D. J. Morgan, of Abertredwr, Glamorganshire, was an auxiliary fireman and contracted acute rheumatism in the performance of his duties; and whether, as this occurred prior to the 3rd September, 1939, when the Civilian Injuries Scheme came into operation and he has been deprived of compensation, he will take steps whereby this man shall have reasonable compensation for his loss?

Mr. H. Morrison

I am making inquiries into this case and will communicate with my hon. Friend when they are complete.
