§ 36. Sir Irving Alberyasked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that a discharged soldier, admitted to the Royal Hospital at Chelsea for investigation and observation resulting from a claim to a disability pension, is not granted any allowance in respect of the maintenance of any dependants whilst staying in hospital and consequently unemployed; and from what source the support of such a man's dependants should be obtained?
§ Sir J. GriggPayments have not hitherto been made from Army funds in respect of the maintenance of any dependants of claimants to disability pensions admitted to a military hospital for investigation and observation, but the matter is under review and I will communicate with my hon. Friend in due course.
