Sir John Mellorasked the Minister of Fuel and Power whether, in view of the matters brought to his notice, including the employment of a director of the contracting company in the office of his Ministry from which the contract was let for unloading and stacking coal at the Solihull reserve dump and in view of the controversy between local merchants and his Ministry with regard to the circumstances in which the contract was let, he will arrange for an inquiry to be held by an independent person into those circumstances and the performance of the contract?
