HC Deb 26 March 1942 vol 378 cc2135-6
32. Mr. Donald Scott

asked the Home Secretary whether he is aware of the small number of civilians who carry their respirators; and whether he will take steps to encourage the fulfilment of this duty, especially in the larger towns?

Mr. H. Morrison

I am keeping the situation under constant review, and I do not consider that any further injunction to carry respirators is desirable at the present time.
