HC Deb 25 March 1942 vol 378 c1974
12. Mr. Stokes

asked the Secretary of State for Air the total expenditure by all Departments in connection with the Maby dowsing experiments; and when he expects these experiments to come to a conclusion?

Sir A. Sinclair

As indicated to my hon. Friend yesterday, approximately £58 has been paid to Mr. Maby and his associate in respect of demonstration expenses. In addition minor expenditure, mainly for travelling, has been incurred by the officers who witnessed the demonstrations. Details are not readily available. As to the second part of the Question, I understand that the War Office are considering the report on these demonstrations.
