§ Mr. BrackenI sympathise with the hon. Member's suggestion, but it must be remembered that the 9 p.m. news bulletin is long and is usually followed by a talk. To include announcements at the same time would involve a lengthy sequence of the spoken word, which is unlikely to be effective in securing attention.
