HC Deb 18 March 1942 vol 378 cc1483-4
7. Dr. Little

asked the Secretary of State for Air whether he will cause special inquiries to be made by competent in vestigators in connection with the erection of aerodromes in Northern Ireland and recast the whole system under which the work is being carried out?

Captain Balfour

My hon. Friend has been good enough to furnish me with information about the construction of aerodromes in Northern Ireland which I am having investigated. I have no reason to suppose that the arrangements generally are unsatisfactory.

Dr. Little

That is not the opinion of Northern Ireland. Will not the right hon. and gallant Gentleman go into the whole business and deal with it?
