HC Deb 10 March 1942 vol 378 c912
22. Mr. McKinlay

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War, the result of the inquiry into the conduct of a sergeant of the military police at Maryhill Barracks alleged to have ill-treated and robbed men awaiting escort; and has he any knowledge of this man's civilian record?

Mr. Sandys

The sergeant and four other soldiers are now awaiting trial by court-martial. My hon. Friend will, therefore, understand that I cannot at present make any comment upon this case.
