HC Deb 05 March 1942 vol 378 c789
26. Mr. Bellenger

asked the Minister of Pensions whether in order to illustrate to the public the considerable development that has taken place since the great war in the manufacture of surgical limbs, he will arrange to have a cinema film made of the work being carried out at His Majesty's artificial limb depôts?

The Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Pensions (Mr. Paling)

My right hon. Friend shares the hon. Member's desire to make this important side of the Ministry's work as widely known as possible and is already considering whether a cinema film can be arranged. I may add that, for the information of members of the profession the chief limb fitting surgeon of the Ministry has delivered a series of lectures throughout the country and is about to begin a second tour.
