§ Captain BalfourThe amount of overtime paid to Air Ministry headquarters staff, including evacuated staff during the month of January, 1942, was £35,380. The figure for outstations staff is not readily available. The staff concerned are under supervision and they are fully 628 and continuously employed. It is the responsibility of the supervising officers to see that the amount of overtime worked is sufficient but no more than sufficient to meet requirements.
