§ 37. Mr. Lipson
asked the President of the Board of Education whether he proposes to ask local education authorities to provide milk and school dinners during the summer holidays?

§ Mr. Butler
Yes, Sir. A circular on this and other matters relating to the care of children during the holidays is in course of preparation.

§ Mr. Lipson
Where local authorities cannot provide facilities in schools, will my right hon. Friend arrange for British Restaurants in the areas concerned to provide milk and meals, if necessary, on the same basis?

§ Mr. Butler
This is the sort of method we have in mind.
