§ Captain PilkingtonAt the present time 14 officers are employed full time in organising the Sea Cadet Corps. Of these, four are attached to university and school units and are for temporary duties only; nine are regional and area officers for open units, and one is at headquarters. These 14 officers draw pay and allowances at the rate of approximately £9,000 a year.
