HC Deb 04 June 1942 vol 380 cc792-3
17. Dr. Little

asked the Home Secretary whether he will review the whole position regarding the granting of travel permits to Northern Ireland people in Britain to visit their friends at regular intervals, with a view to the removal of vexatious restrictions which are causing inconvenience to many people?

Mr. H. Morrison

The whole question is reviewed periodically, but I regret that I cannot at the present time add anything to what I said in reply to my hon. Friend's Question on 14th May last.

Dr. Little

If I put before my right hon. Friend some of these very vexatious restrictions, will he give them his careful consideration with a view to their removal? They are intolerable at the moment in some cases.

Mr. Morrison

I will certainly give consideration to any representations which my hon. Friend may make to me.
