Major Lloyd GeorgeSubject to the satisfactory completion of the appropriate application form the Coal Commission are prepared to make a payment on account of 10 per cent. of the draft valuation of a valued holding or of 1½ times the last year's income where the holding is income producing but has not been valued. Payments on account are made on the last day of each month; the first cheques were issued on 30th June in respect of 28 holdings situated in seven of the Valuation Regions.
