Mr. William Brownasked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware of the feeling excited amongst American, Australian, Canadian and British troops by the exhibition in public-houses of notices, "Civilians and officers only"; whether these notices are exhibited as the result of instructions from local officers commanding; and whether he will take immediate steps to put public-houses exhibiting such notices out of bounds?
