asked the Minister of Fuel and Power whether he will state the profits of the companies' and local authorities' gas undertakings in Great Britain in 1937, 1938, 1939, 1940 and 1941, and the price paid per ton for coal, and similar particulars with regard to the generation of electricity and the production of coke?

The desired information relating to 1937 was given in reply to a similar Question by my hon. Friend on 17th May, 1939. Subsequent information is available only for electricity undertakings for the year 1938. With the hon. Member's permission I will circulate this in the OFFICIAL REPORT.
