Resolved, That for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to extend the time within which applications for assistance under the Housing (Rural Workers) Act, 1926, may be received by local authorities, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of such additional sums as may become payable thereout under section four of the said Act of 1926 by reason of any extension of the time within which an application for assistance must be received by the local authority in order for their power to give assistance under the said Act of 1926 to be exercisable."—(King's recommendation signified.)—[Miss Horsbrugh]
