HC Deb 08 July 1942 vol 381 c743
3. Dr. Little

asked the Secretary of State for Air, whether he will make inquiries as to certain young men, who joined the Royal Air Force as radio location operators and such like, now stationed in Iraq, and doing the work of navvies in a temperature of 170 degrees; and, as these men can stand the strain no longer, whether he will give orders at once for their release from all such work?

The Secretary of State for Air (Sir Archibald Sinclair)

If my hon. Friend will be good enough to furnish me with details of the cases to which he refers, I shall be glad to have inquiries made.

Dr. Little

I would be very glad to supply my right hon. Friend with details. They are unbelievable.
