HC Deb 07 July 1942 vol 381 c618
8. Mr. Robertson

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that Mr. W. L. Southon, a one-man trader in Streatham, whose two sons are in the Forces, sent 513 clothing coupons to Messrs. I and R. Morley, of Nottingham, with an order which they executed; that the goods were stolen in transit and that replacement coupons have been refused; and what steps he is taking in this case?

The President of the Board of Trade (Mr. Dalton)

I have had this case investigated, and replacement coupons have now been sent to Mr. Southon.
