HC Deb 07 July 1942 vol 381 c642
Mr. Stokes

May I ask the Leader of the House whether the Government propose to put down the Home Office Debate for the next Series of Sittings?

The Lord Privy Seal (Sir Stafford Gripps)

It will be within the recollection of certain Members that the Government were prepared to arrange for a Debate on Defence Regulation 18B, on the Home Office Vote, to take place during the present series of Sittings. We will, however, make the necessary arrangements for such a Debate to take place in the near future.

Mr. Stokes

Will the right hon. and learned Gentleman assure the House that the Debate will take place before the Regulations come up for renewal?

Sir S. Gripps

Yes, Sir.
