HC Deb 27 January 1942 vol 377 c560
57. Mr. Doland

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will give some approximate date when he will be in a position to introduce the Bill to the House of Commons to extend and amend the War Damage Act, 1941, promised for the autumn of that year?

The Chancellor of the Exchequer (Sir Kingsley Wood)

I am not yet in a position to state a date, but the terms of the Bill are the subject of consideration which will, I hope, soon be concluded.
