WoodThe addresses by the chairmen of the principal banks stress the 1656 success which has been achieved in keeping the danger of inflation in check and the need for all citizens to co-operate in increasing degree to this end by refraining from unnecessary expenditure and by saving everything that it is in their power to save. I need add nothing to this and to the similar statements which I have made from time to time.
