asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer the amounts lent to the Government each year, to the latest available date, on Treasury Deposit Receipts and the rate and amount of interest payable; the amounts of Treasury Deposit Receipts repaid to banks for reinvestment in War Loan; and the rate of interest paid each year, to latest available date, on such amounts in War Loan?
