§ Mr. E. BrownI have received representations from a number of medical and welfare organisations recommending some form of compulsory treatment, particularly for known sources of infection. Some welfare organisations have opposed compulsion and have called for an expansion of treatment facilities, social work, and education of the public, all of which have been and are being expanded.
