HC Deb 09 December 1942 vol 385 c1538
5. Mr. Martin

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether we can have confidence that no information likely to be detrimental to the success of our arms or the safety of our troops is passing from North Africa to Europe as a result of our association with persons or groups in North African territories not proved to be in accord with the principles for which we are fighting?

Mr. Eden

This problem is the responsibility of the military authorities on the spot. I understand that the necessary measures are being taken to meet it.
