§ 18. Mr. Lipsonasked the Secretary of State for Air why Air-Commodore Warrington-Morris, of the Royal Observer Corps, has resigned?
§ Sir A. SinclairThe hon. Member has been misinformed. Air-Commodore Warrington-Morris did not resign from the post of Commandant of the Royal Observer Corps but left it on 25th June, 1942, on the completion of his tour of duty, which had already been extended for two years. A younger officer with recent operational experience was appointed as his successor.
§ Mr. LipsonHas my right hon. Friend anything to say about the services which this officer has rendered to the Royal Observer Corps, and does the answer mean that it is not proposed to use his ability further?
§ Sir A. SinclairHis services have been outstanding, and his abilities are now being utilised.
