6. Mr. Dugdaleasked the Secretary of State for Air whether transport officers have now been appointed at all aerodromes in the country; and whether, as a 1007 result of such appointments, there has been any saving in the consumption of petrol for non-flying purposes?
§ Captain BalfourPersonnel have been specially appointed at all R.A.F. stations to supervise the use of mechanical transport and to see that the regulations enjoining economy in petrol consumption are duly observed. I am advised that these appointments are achieving their object.
