HC Deb 09 September 1941 vol 374 cc28-9
46. Mr. Granville

asked the Prime Minister whether, in order to secure the most effective counsels for the consideration of Empire war policy and strategy in every theatre of war, and the closest collaboration between Dominion and Home Governments, particularly with regard to activities in the Far East and the Pacific, he will now consider inviting Mr. Menzies and other Dominion statesmen to visit London for consultation, and to consider the formation of an Empire War Cabinet?

The Prime Minister (Mr. Churchill)

I am not prepared to deal with matters of this consequence and scope by answers at Question time. His Majesty's Government are in continual contact with all the Dominions upon these subjects, and announcements will be made of any decisions which are reached from time to time.
