HC Deb 22 October 1941 vol 374 c1760
10. Mr. Moelwyn Hughes

asked the Secretary of State for Air whether his attention has been drawn to the fact that in sections of the Royal Air Force in the Middle East officer-pilots and sergeant-pilots are messing together; whether he agrees that those who hold commissions and those who do not should be allowed to mix in this manner; and whether he is satisfied that this mixing is not subversive of discipline.

The Secretary of State for Air (Sir Archibald Sinclair)

I have no official knowledge of the arrangement referred to, but I am making inquiries and will communicate with my hon. Friend.
