HC Deb 08 October 1941 vol 374 c974
32. Dr. Morgan

asked the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether, as in 1939, only one district nurse is still employed by the Government for home visiting in the whole island of Barbados, population 160,000; how many other visiting nurses for the sick poor are now employed; and what ameliorative changes in this regard have taken place since the visit of the Moyne Commission in 1939?

Mr. George Hall

My Noble Friend is making inquiries of the Governor of Barbados in the matter, and I will communicate with my hon. Friend when a reply is received.
