Output varies according to the ration requirements of the domestic consumers and the allocations made to Trade users. The number of calories in one pound of butter or margarine is 3,616, the calorific value being the same. Margarine is made from oils only, the oils generally used being Ground Nut Oil, Cotton Seed Oil, Coconut Oil, Palm Kernel Oil, Palm Oil and Whale Oil.
