HC Deb 08 October 1941 vol 374 c977
36. Mr. Creech Jones

asked the Undersecretary of State for the Colonies what is the extent of the concessions made to the Demerara Bauxite Company in British Guiana; whether any other companies have applied for and been given concessions; on what terms are these concessions made; and whether any stipulation is made as to the period in which the rights so granted are to be exercised?

Mr. George Hall

The Acting Governor of British Guiana is being consulted on this subject, and I will communicate with my hon. Friend when his reply is received.
