§ Mr. E. BrownYes, Sir. I am sending the hon. Lady a copy of a circular recently issued to local authorities about the extended powers now made available to them by Order in Council for the control of scabies. I am advised that, as scabies is an infestation rather than an infectious disease in the accepted sense, the action that has been taken is the more appropriate method of dealing with the problem.
