HC Deb 25 November 1941 vol 376 c603
Mr. Pethick-Lawrence

Will the Prime Minister kindly tell the House the Business it is proposed to take to-day?

The Prime Minister

We hope the House will adjourn the Debate within an hour and a half of the usual time, and that these proposals will meet hon. Members' wishes, as it will give additional time for more hon. Members to take part in the Debate. We desire also to-day to obtain the Motion to approve the Potatoes, 1941, draft Order, and the Home-Grown Oats (Standard Price) Order.

Ordered, That the Proceedings on the Motion for an Address in reply to the King's Speech be exempted, at this day's Sitting, from the provisions of the Standing Order (Sittings of the House)"—[The Prime Minister.]
