§ The Prime MinisterThe co-ordination of the preparatory work on all reconstruction problems is carried out by the Ministerial Committee under the chairmanship of my right hon. Friend the Minister without Portfolio. The various Departments concerned are represented at meetings of the Committee.
§ Mr. MathersDoes that mean that there is special oversight of the Scottish side of this business?
§ The Prime MinisterYes, Sir, I am sure that that course is provided for. At the same time we have met the principle of not disclosing the actual membership and composition of committees. It is a very old rule.
§ Mr. MathersWill the right hon. Gentleman keep in mind what he already knows as to the trend of Scottish susceptibilities?
§ The Prime MinisterYes, indeed, having been a Member for a Scottish constituency for 15 years.
