§ 39 and 40. Mr. R. J. Taylorasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Shipping (1) whether he will give the number of Greek vessels employed by the British Government; whether any of the vessels are idle; and what terms have been accorded to the Greek owners for the use of their ships;
(2) the rates paid to owners of neutral and Allied ships; and whether he can explain why there should be any difference in the rates paid to Norwegian and Greek shipowners?
§ Colonel LlewellinI regret that it is not in the public interest to give specific answers to the individual points raised. The terms upon which Allied ships are operated in our service are governed by comprehensive Agreements made with each of the Allied Governments.
