HC Deb 06 May 1941 vol 371 c696
48. Sir. T. Moore

asked the Prime Minister whether he proposes to take any steps now, or in the near future, to mark the appreciation felt by Britain and the Empire in regard to the heroic actions and noble attitude of the King, Government, armies and people of Greece, in respect of such assistance as we have rendered them?

Mr. Attlee

Perhaps my hon. and gallant Friend will await the speeches which will be made in the course of the Debate this afternoon.

Sir T. Moore

Does not my right hon. Friend think that it would honour not only the Forces of the Empire but those of Greece?
