Resolved, That for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to make provision for calling up men for civil defence and to amend the National Service (Armed Forces) Act, 1939, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of any expenses incurred by a Secretary of State or other Minister of the Crown in consequence of the passing of the first-mentioned Act."— (King's Recommendation signified.) — [Mr. Bevin.] Resolution to be reported upon the next Sitting Day.
