HC Deb 06 March 1941 vol 369 c1002
29. Mr. Radford

(for Colonel Burton)asked the Minister of Health whether he has inquired into the allegations relative to the neglect of people bombed out of their homes, a copy of which has been sent to him; and what steps he proposes to take, or has taken, to bring relief to these people, both physically and materially?

Mr. E. Brown

Yes, Sir. I am in close and constant touch with the local authorities concerned with the relief of the homeless, and action is at once taken to remove any deficiencies which are found in the preparation and operation of their schemes.
