Friend the Minister without Portfolio, I am appointing an Inter-departmental Committee to consider and report upon the plans which should be made to enable suitable persons, both men and women, who have served in the Armed Forces or in the Civil Defence Services to obtain the further education or training necessary to equip them for appropriate occupations in civil life after the war.
