HC Deb 25 June 1941 vol 372 c1031
22. Mr. Banfield

asked the Postmaster- General whether his attention has been called to the new rules of the Throgmorton Street Stock Exchange, the provisions of which will seriously affect the revenue of his Department; will he state the number of private telephone lines to be surrendered and the annual rents thereof; and what action he proposes to take in the matter?

The Postmaster-General (Mr. W. S. Morrison)

I have seen a copy of the rules referred to. No private telephone lines have been surrendered as a result of these rules, and I have no ground for action in the matter.
