asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food whether he can give any information with regard to the men, Richard Richards, of Portobello Road, Kensington, and William Webb, of Brassie Avenue, Acton, who were found with large sacks of meat in their car contrary to the food rationing Order?

Both men mentioned were recently convicted of offences against the rationing Order. Richard Richards was fined £50 and ordered to pay 15 guineas costs, and William Webb was fined £10 and ordered to pay five guineas costs.
