§ The Joint Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Supply (Mr. Harold Macmillan)The provision of electrical power is not the responsibility of the Ministry of Supply, but the availability of such power is one of the first considerations which is taken into account, in consultation with the Electricity Commis- 1399 sioners and the Central Electricity Board, before finally deciding upon the location of new factories.
