HC Deb 22 July 1941 vol 373 cc789-90
47. Mr. Mander

asked the Minister without Portfolio, the arrangements made by his Department for the investigation of problems that will arise at the peace conference, including peace aims, together with the names of the members of the committee undertaking this work?

The Minister without Portfolio (Mr. Arthur Greenwood)

Preliminary studies are being made of the international aspects of the reconstruction survey which I am undertaking in collaboration with the Departments concerned. There is no special committee dealing with this work.

Mr. Mander

In view of the fact that the right hon. Gentleman gave a long list the other day of persons who were studying another problem, and as a number of persons are obviously studying this problem, will he indicate who they are?

Mr. Greenwood

The Question which I answered last week was in regard to an institution over which I have no direct control.
