22. Mr. Kirkwood

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he is aware that Mr. Bowman, who lost four members of his family in an air raid, has received from the public assistance department of Clydebank a demand for the payment of 4s. 6d. per week for billeting his remaining children, together with a demand for the payment of £8 2s. arrears; and whether he will look into this case with a view to relieving Mr. Bowman who has suffered such grievous loss?
