asked the Secretary for Petroleum whether, in giving effect to the 20 per cent. reduction in the amount of paraffin available, he will consider either giving preferential treatment or issuing supplementary coupons to those purely rural residents whose paraffin stove is the only means of cooking food.

Yes, Sir. Special consideration is being given to cases which, for various reasons, arc especially dependent on paraffin for cooking purposes.
