Resolved, That for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to authorise the Secretary of State to agree to make good any deficiencies in funds established by colonies and certain other countries for insuring commodities against war risks, it is expedient to authorise—

  1. (a) the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament, or the issue out of the Consolidated Fund, of any sums required by the Secretary of State for the purpose of any agreement made in pursuance of the said Act; and
  2. (b) the payment into the Exchequer of any sum received by the Secretary of State in pursuance of any such agreement."— (King's recommendation signified.)—[Mr. George Hall.]
